What we store in your browser, why, and how to change your mind. The short version: nothing that measures you runs unless you accept it.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for a page to work at all. Others exist to count visitors and see which pages get read. This page lists everything www.378.realestate uses, in plain terms.
Your choice
When you first arrive you get a short banner with two buttons, Accept and Reject. Until you choose Accept, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics script is loaded at all. Choosing Reject is not a lesser version of the site. Every page, photo, brochure and enquiry form works exactly the same either way.
We remember your answer for twelve months, then ask again. You can change it whenever you like with the link in the footer of any page.
What we use
| Consent choice | Stored in your browser under a378Consent. Records only whether you accepted, and when. Never leaves your device. Kept 12 months. Set whichever button you press, because we have to remember not to ask again. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Only after you accept. Cookies named _ga and _ga_*, kept up to 24 months. Tells us how many people visited, which property pages they opened and roughly where in the world they were. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored. |
| Metricool | Only after you accept. Measures visits to the site alongside our social channels, so we can see what brings people here. |
| Google Translate | If you read the site in another language, Google stores your language choice in a googtrans cookie. Set only when a translation is used. |
| Photo viewer & forms | No cookies. The photo gallery, the enquiry forms and the sign-up box keep nothing in your browser. |
If you reject, or later change your answer to reject, we clear the analytics cookies above and reload the page so anything already running stops.
Things we do not do
We do not run advertising cookies, we do not sell or share what we measure with advertisers, and we do not try to identify you personally from it. Analytics tells us that a page was read, not who read it. If you send us an enquiry, that is separate: you gave us those details deliberately, and we use them only to answer you.
Third parties
Some things on the site are served by other companies, and they may see your IP address as part of delivering them. Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google Maps serves the map on each property page. Google Translate provides the language switcher. Google Analytics and Metricool provide the visitor statistics described above, and neither loads unless you accept.
Turning cookies off in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies for a site, under Settings, then Privacy. Doing that for www.378.realestate is fine and nothing here will break. Bear in mind it also clears the record of your choice, so the banner will ask you again next time.
